*5 months later*
Today marked our second anniversary of me being together with my boys. It marked two years since my life turned upside down. I still remembered how one fateful day had changed everything. I had just gone for a walk when I saw two wolves being targeted by hunters and I had decided to help out.
Fate had it that those two were two of my soulmates. The feeling I felt at that moment were indescribable. Then Jungkook came and I felt my heart beginning to feel complete. Unfortunately, things had to get complicated before I met the others.
That night still scared me. Thoughts and memories of that night terrify me. I had been so scared that they would kill or hurt Taehyung. I was so happy when the others came and we started to live our life normally.
Over the two years we’ve done a lot of things. Our pack always continued to increase first with Junsu and his mate Yuri and their little ones Eric and Lizzie. Then we had met Kai, Moonbyul and Lily who were members of Jin’s old pack. Then we met Huening Kai when I had “saved” him from those bullies, if you could call it that. Then two months ago, we met with Taehyun who now shares a house with Huening Kai. Taehyun has been quite an exceptional addition to the pack.
A month ago, we also met two sisters – Hwasa and Solar. Those two also share a house together. They’ve clicked really well with Moonbyul too which was good. I was happy to see Moonbyul have some close friends.
Through the two years, the boys and I have done a lot of things. We’ve gone on adventures and slept under the stars. We’ve gone hiking and up mountains as well as explored caves. We’ve laughed and we’ve cried. Our trust continued to build… but there was one thing I had never managed to do, even if I really wanted to.
I sighed as I stood up and went to the garden. Everyone was out except for Taehyung. Somehow, I knew it was him who had to be my first. Maybe because of what happened or maybe because he was the Alpha but I knew that the one who should mark me first was meant to be him.
I rested against the door as I saw Taehyung fixing the flower bed. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and the weather was pretty hot which was making him sweat a little. He was humming quietly and I could not help but smile. I took a step forward which seemed to alert him as he turned around.
‘Oh hey baby. How long have you been there?’ he asked as he stood up and approached me.
‘Just a few minutes,’ I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. ‘You’ve been hard at work I see,’ I teased to which he laughed.
‘The garden needed some mending. I wanted the flowers to look perfect because I know how much you and Joon love them,’ he replied as he wrapped his arms around my waist. ‘I’m going to get you all sweaty,’ he said with a laugh.
‘I don’t care,’ I said as I hugged him closer. I stared at him – at his chiselled jaw, his perfect nose, his cheeks and his chocolate brown eyes. My eyes fell on his lips – his perfectly, kissable lips.
‘Is everything okay baby? Your heart is racing,’ Taehyung said worriedly. I nodded but he sighed, clearly not convinced. He put two of his finger under my chin, lifting up my face, forcing me to look at him. ‘You can talk to me princess,’ he said.
‘I know, it’s not that,’ I said as I played with my fingers which were resting on his chest. I tried to look down but he did not tell me.
‘Then what is it hmm?’ he asked. I frowned as I bit my lower lip, wondering how I was supposed to place the words. How was I supposed to tell him that I wanted to be with him physically? How I was supposed to tell him that I wanted him, no, needed him to mark me?
‘It’s embarrassing Tae,’ I said with a pout. He chuckled as he shook his head. He kissed me gently and I felt as if I was on air. Something about the way he kissed me always made me feel so light. He pulled back and smiled that box smile that I adored. ‘Nothing you ever say can be embarrassing to me my love. Tell me, I promise I won’t judge,’ he said and I nodded.
‘Okay,’ I said as I nodded once more, almost as if to give myself courage. He placed his hands on my arms and held me steady.
‘Go on. I’m all ears princess,’ he said as he gave my arms a little squeeze. I let out a deep breath and lifted my head to look at him.
‘Do you remember months ago? Almost a year ago when… when I had freaked out because…’ I paused, not sure how to place the words. His smile faltered a little but his grip remained the same.
‘I don’t think I can ever forget jagi. That… that episode, it had made me scared of myself,’ he said.
‘I told you I did not blame you. I don’t want you to think of that moment as something atrocious Tae,’ I said but he remained silent. ‘The only reason I am mentioning it is because…well, you told me that you’d wait for me until I am ready,’ I said and he nodded.
‘I remember and that still stands Alina,’ he said seriously. ‘I will wait until you are ready, all of us will,’ he said and I nodded.
‘Today marks our second anniversary Tae,’ I said and he smiled.
‘I know. You didn’t think I forgot, did you?’ he asked. I laughed and shook my head to which he smiled. ‘Are you trying to say what I think you’re trying to say princess?’ he asked softly.
‘I think I’m ready Taehyungie. I want to be with you. I’m still a little scared and I’m worried I’ll freak out again but I want to be with you. I want you to mark me so badly,’ I said.
He sighed as he touched my face. He looked at me as he cupped my cheeks and continued to study me. If I knew better, I would think he was trying to read me or something.
‘Are you sure? I don’t want you forcing yourself and—’ he began but I pulled him close to me and kissed him. I felt his surprise which quickly turned to reciprocation. He kissed back, our kiss deepening more and more. We moved together until my back was against the door. We pulled away for air, both of us breathing heavily as he rested his forehead against mine.
‘I am sure Tae,’ I said as I continued to breathe a little out of control. ‘I just need you to know that if I do freak out, it’s not your fault. I want to be with you and the others and I want to overcome this and I know I can do it with the people I love and the people who love me,’ I said to which he nodded.
‘We’ll do this but if you feel uncomfortable or want to stop, we stop, okay? You got to promise me you won’t keep back or force yourself. You’ll stop,’ he said and I nodded.
‘I promise,’ I said. ‘What if… what if we use a safe word? If things get too much, I would say that word and we stop hmm?’ I asked and he nodded.
‘Purple,’ he said. I tilted my head as I waited for him to explain why he chose that colour. He smiled as he gave me a quick peck on my lips. ‘Purple is the last colour of the rainbow. Purple means I will trust and love you for a long time,’ he said.
‘Hmm in that case I purple you,’ I said to which he smiled and nodded.
‘I purple you too my precious,’ he said. ‘Let’s go to the bedroom. That should make you more comfortable, right?’ he asked.
‘I think so,’ I said with a slight smirk. Suddenly, he picked me up in his arm and I yelped in surprise and then broke out laughing. He laughed alongside with me as we made our way to our bedroom.
He put me down on the bed and hovered above me. He smirked before he started tickling me. I laughed loudly as I tried to stop him but he didn’t stop. We both laughed and without even realizing, I was calming down.
He stopped as he started kissing me playfully. He kissed me with sweet, tender kisses all over my face which made me giggle.
‘So beautiful and pretty,’ he said as he gave me a kiss on my lips. ‘Did I ever tell you how much I love your smile, giggle and laugh?’ he asked and I nodded.
‘You tell me every single day Tae,’ I said while I still smiled. He kissed at my neck as he sucked on a spot. I felt my body tense up but I gripped on him.
‘Are you okay?’ he asked and I nodded. ‘I got you Alina. I won’t hurt you, I promise,’ he said. I closed my eyes and placed my hand on his chest. I felt his calm heartbeat and it was almost as if that calmness transmitted to me. ‘Can I mark you?’ he asked.
‘Yes… please Tae. Please I want everyone to know I am yours,’ I said as he nodded. He kissed on the same spot on my neck. He gave a lick and then I felt a sharp and slightly painful jab. I felt his teeth sink in while he held me tightly in his arms.
I felt my body grow warm – as if filling being filled with light. I felt peace and love that seemed to be amplified ten thousand times more than the usual feelings. I felt brave, as if any trace of fear was gone.
I felt his teeth sink and I almost lost my balance but he was quick to hold me. ‘You’re okay,’ he whispered as I felt him lick at where the little holes were, closing off the wound. ‘I love you so much,’ he said as he kissed me.
‘I love you too Tae,’ I said as he began to undress me slowly. Yet, somehow, I was not afraid. I was welcoming him, as if my body yearned to be with him now that we were bonded. He continued to undress me until I was fully naked and then I helped him to undress as well.
‘Are you ready?’ he asked and I nodded. He smiled as he gave me a gentle peck. ‘It might hurt a bit at first but I’ll be careful. I got you,’ he said.
‘I know. I trust you,’ I said. He smiled as he began making love to me.
‘Wow. That felt…wonderful,’ I said as we both laid on the bed, my head on his chest. His arm was wrapped around my back while his fingers drew circles on my bare back.
‘You were amazing love,’ Taehyung said. ‘How do you feel?’ he asked, being the ever-caring soulmate.
‘I feel splendid, as if I was rejuvenated. I feel alive and happy and proud that I did it. I’m proud to be able to call myself your mate,’ I said.
‘You know you don’t need the mark just to prove you’re our mate, right?’ he asked, suddenly sounding worried. ‘Tell me you didn’t do it just because of that!’ he said.
‘No, of course not,’ I said as I hugged him tighter. ‘I wanted to be with you in the deepest way possible because I love you. I want to be like this with the rest of the boys too, even if it might take some time,’ I said.
‘Take as much time as you need. Don’t worry about the others. They won’t get jealous just because you mated with me first,’ he said reassuringly and I nodded. ‘They might ask questions and tease though,’ he said with a playful chuckle.
‘That I can handle,’ I said, laughing along with him. ‘Thank you Tae. Thank you for being so understanding and gentle and patient with me,’ I said.
‘There wouldn’t be anything I wouldn’t do for you,’ he said as he kissed the top of my head. ‘Thee are some things I want to remind you about the bonding mark,’ he said and I nodded.
‘I know you boys told me a lot about it already so I was prepared,’ I said and he nodded.
‘Still. You know now you’ll be more in tune with my emotions. I can feel your emotions because I am a wolf. I can sense and shift the emotions but now you’ll be able to tell mine more. When you bond with the others, you’ll be able to tell theirs too,’ he said.
‘That’s fair,’ I said with a smile. ‘I always hated how you could tell if I am upset just by walking into the room but I was not always able to do so with you,’ I said with a pout.
‘It didn’t mean we loved you any less,’ he said. ‘Your emotions might feel heightened too because of the bond. There might be times where you might feel more energetic or more drained too,’ he explained.
‘I know. It’s going to be okay Tae. I knew what I wanted when I said I wanted to be marked by you,’ I said and he nodded.
‘It’s jut, I worry about you. I’m scared of what might happen in the future,’ he admitted and I looked at him confused. ‘If by any chance, some rogue wolf tries to mark you against your will, it’s going to hurt a lot. It could potentially…’ he paused as he looked at me with worried eyes. ‘It could potentially kill you since you’re marked already,’ he said.
‘That won’t happen baby. I won’t let it happen and I know you and the boys or the pack, none of you will let it happen,’ I said.
‘I swear to you, I’d die before I let another wolf apart from our six boys touch you,’ he said, a certain anger or determination in his voice.
‘I know,’ I said with a smile. ‘You know, hearing you sound so determined makes you even sexier,’ I said, surprising him. He blinked while I crawled on top of him. ‘Can I kiss you?’ I asked.
‘You never have to ask twice for that!’ he said as we quickly began to kiss. His hands roamed on my waist until suddenly the door burst open. I quickly pulled away and turned to see Jungkook there with his cheeks red.
‘What’s taking you so long Kooks? Food is going to –‘Yoongi stopped by the door as his eyes fell on us. ‘Ahh so this is where you’ve been hiding,’ he said with a smirk.
‘What’s going on in there?’ Jimin asked curiously as he also got into the room. His eyes went wide while I covered myself with the sheet. I heard Taehyung laughing while my face continued to grow red. ‘Wait, did you mark her?’ Jimin asked, his eyes wide.
I gulped and licked my lower lip as I nodded. The three of them exchanged a look before they all smiled.
‘That’s wonderful to hear Alina,’ Yoongi said as he came to hug me. ‘Can I?’ he asked while I nodded.
‘Of course you can. I never said no for a hug!’ I mumbled as he hugged me tightly.
‘We’re so proud of you baby,’ Yoongi said as he kissed my cheek.
‘One day, I want all of you to mark me. One by one, day by day,’ I said as the three of them nodded.
‘In due time Alina. Don’t push yourself. We’ll get there,’ Jungkook said as I nodded.
‘Now you said something about food?’ Taehyung asked as Jimin nodded, grabbing Tae’s hand in his.
‘Yeah. We went to town after we finished and brought some sweet and sour chicken, crispy beef and some fried duck too to celebrate our anniversary,’ Jimin said.
‘Then Tae and I will put on some clothes and come eat with you,’ I said.
‘Well we won’t mind if you come in naked,’ Yoongi said, only to earn a slap on the arm from me.
‘Yah! Yoongi don’t be a pervert,’ I said with a frown, which only made him laugh.
‘Says the one who is tangled up to one of her mates while naked and post-sex,’ Yoongi replied, which only made me go redder.
‘Yah! Stop teasing her you pabo,’ Taehyung said as he quickly put his arms around me. The three of them laughed as they all left the room, leaving me with Taehyung. ‘I told you they’ll tease,’ he said.
‘Yeah you did warn me,’ I replied as we both got out of bed and quickly got dressed. Taehyung grabbed my hand and pulled me down with him as we went to meet the others.
Namjoon, Hoseok and Jin were all smiling widely, probably the news that I bonded with Taehyung spreading. They greeted us with a smile and a peck before they led us to the living room where the food was set up and a movie was already waiting to be played.
‘Before we start the food and movie, Alina we have something for you,’ Namjoon said as he approached with a box.
‘Actually, Taehyung saw it last time we went into town and had ordered it so we went to pick it up today,’ Hoseok said.
‘We hope you like it Alina,’ Jin said as he opened the box to reveal a beautiful necklace. It was gold and in the shape of an octagon. Inside, there was dark blue with what appeared to be specks of white.
‘This is beautiful. You boys didn’t have to get me anything,’ I said, starting to tear up.
‘Of course we did. Today marks a very important day. It’s the day we got completed,’ Jimin said.
‘The octagon represents the eight of us, constantly and always connected,’ Namjoon said.
‘And the dark blue represents the night sky and white specks the stars,’ Hoseok explained.
‘Because our destiny and fate was written in the stars,’ Jungkook said while Taehyung brought the necklace out of the box.
‘Can I?’ he asked as I nodded. I turned around and lifted my hair while Taehyung put the necklace around my neck.
I turned around and looked at the boys. ‘There you go. A beautiful necklace for a beautiful girl,’ Jin said.
‘A perfect match indeed,’ Yoongi added while I smiled and fought against the tears.
‘Now how about we start digging in before everything gets cold?’ Jungkook asked as I nodded. We all sat down and started eating together, one big happy family.
